Eleventh Circuit Win for Employer

The Eleventh Circuit ruled favorably in an employment discrimination case defended by Greg Ritchey.

It was successfully argued that the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama correctly entered a summary judgment for the employer-defendant. At the trial level, the court ruled that the employee’s supervisor did not discriminate against the employee and that the supervisor was not aware of the alleged comparator’s like or similar conduct. The Eleventh Circuit affirmed the trial court’s granting of the summary judgment motion filed by Greg Ritchey on behalf of the employer, finding that the employee did not present sufficient evidence to establish pretext for discrimination.
